Synercoat 803 is Phosphate free, Zr Based – transition metal oxide coating.
Synercoat 803 deposits Zr oxide on the substrate.
Mechanism – Treatment with Fluoride ion and deposit amorphous Zr oxide on substrate.
Treated surface – passivate surface, enhancand corrosion resistance.
Synercoat 803 can exhibit an array of colors, from nearly colorless, to tan, gold, and iridescent blue.
Higher Carbon steel surface is less reactive, may require more treatment time.
